Automatic AI accounting data entry, designed for Moroccan documents
Stop typing your invoices and statements: artificial intelligence reads them, proposes the entries in the Moroccan chart of accounts and flags what does not add up. An accountant validates.
Automatic AI accounting data entry replaces the typing of documents with reading them. At SAMIFISC, each uploaded document is read, matched against what already exists in the file, then turned into an entry ready to validate — without losing an accountant's control.
From document to entry, in four steps
- Upload: a photo taken on a phone, a PDF, or several files at once; the same document uploaded twice is refused.
- Reading: the AI extracts the third party and its ICE, IF and RC, the date, the number, the amounts excluding tax, VAT by rate and including tax, the currency, the payments.
- Check: excl. tax + VAT = incl. tax, payments consistent with the invoice, duplicates, missing VAT — any discrepancy is flagged in red.
- Entry: the entry is proposed in the Moroccan chart of accounts, then validated by the accountant; it feeds VAT and the Sage export.
What the AI reads on a Moroccan invoice
- Several VAT rates on a single invoice, exempt and out-of-scope lines.
- The stamp duty on an invoice paid in cash, recorded separately, outside VAT.
- Invoices in euros or dollars, converted at the Bank Al-Maghrib rate of the day.
- Handwritten payment notes: date, cheque, cash, transfer.
- The foreign supplier (Google, Meta, Microsoft…) for the VAT on non-residents.
Bank statements, line by line
A multi-page statement is read in full: each transaction is dated with its transaction date, matched against invoices and loan instalments, and given an allocation account. The accounts you correct are remembered for identical descriptions — the “account memory” learns from your corrections, file by file.
Cash too
Invoices paid in cash go automatically into the cash book, and your cash payment vouchers are numbered and printed from the application. The cash book shows the opening balance, receipts, payments and the new balance, month by month.

Frequently asked questions
A question, a specific need?
Our experts are available to talk with you and answer all your questions.
Book an appointmentHow does automatic AI accounting data entry work?
You upload a document (photo or PDF). The AI reads its content — third party, ICE, date, number, amounts excluding tax, VAT and including tax, payments — then proposes the entry in the Moroccan chart of accounts. An accountant checks it before validation.
Which documents can the AI read?
Purchase and sales invoices, multi-page bank statements from any bank, cash vouchers and cash receipts, loan and lease amortization schedules, as well as national ID cards and company documents for business formation.
What if the AI gets it wrong?
Each field read stays to be checked until a human has confirmed it. Inconsistencies are flagged: excl. tax + VAT different from incl. tax, payments greater than the invoice, document already uploaded. An invoice with inconsistent payments cannot be validated.
Does the AI read handwritten notes?
Yes: a note such as “23/09 cheque” or “transfer 9,000” written on the invoice becomes a payment to check, dated and with its payment method.
Can the entries be exported to Sage?
Yes. Validated entries are exported in Sage format (8-digit accounts, journal codes and date format adjustable per client file).
